YS Jagan’s election manifesto comprising of Navaratnalu, nine welfare programs is winning public support. Jagan has instructed YSRCP leaders to take the programs into grassroot level. What exactly does the Navaratnalu offer us..

1. YSR Rythu Bharosa

Jagan promises to offer financial aide of Rs 50K to farmers. In the second year, each farmer’s family would be given Rs 12,500 per year apart from zero-interest loans. Borewells will be dug for free. Uninterrupted 9 hours free electricity is promised. Cold storage units and food processing centres will be set-up in every constituency. A calamity relief fund of Rs 4,000 crore will be set aside.

2. Fee Reimbursement

Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s visionary scheme of Fee Reimbursement will be taken one step ahead. YSRCP promises to provide a comprehensive fee reimbursement scheme with an allowance of Rs 20,000 to each eligible student. Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh would be spend on each student’s education.

3. Arogyasri

YSR’s pet scheme, Arogyasri will be made applicable to all medical treatments of above Rs 1,000. Many more hospitals will be included in the scheme and all medical expenses would be borne by the government.

4. Jalayagnam

Providing water through building irrigation projects and completing Polavaram project at the earliest ar part of this Ratna.

5. Alcohol Prohibition

YS Jagan promises to impose ban on liquor if he’s voted to power. YSRCP offers to implement alcohol prohibition in AP at three stages.

6. Amma Vodi

YSRCP promises to provide Rs 15,000 towards assistance to all mothers who send their children to school. It is aimed at achieving 100% literacy by bringing down school dropouts and eliminating child labour.

7. YSR Aasara

Loans taken by women under DWACRA scheme and other women co-operative societies would be waived off. Moreover, zero-interest loans will be provided here after. Interests on the loans up to Rs 5k would be borne by the government itself.

8. Houses to poor

YS Jagan promises to build 25 lakh pakka houses to the poor. The houses will be built with in span of 5 years and registered in name of the woman of the household.

The government will facilitate housing loan through banks at 0.25 paisa interest.

9. Pension hike

Pension eligibility age will be brough down to 60 years from 65 years. Senior citizens would be given Rs 2,000 while the specially abled would be given a pension of Rs 3,000.

Besides, YS Jagan has come up with special scheme named YSR Cheyutha to support all women from SC, ST, BC and minority communities, who are aged over 45. Rs 75,000 per will be given to women over a period of 4 years.
