Nandamuri Balakrishna Jai Simha full movie review and ratings. This is a genuine and unbiased review by TeluguOdu team. With positive talk, Jai Simha emerged as Sankranthi blockbuster.

Jai Simha is Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 102nd film and is directed by Tamil director KS Ravikumar. The film has Nayantara, Hariprriya and Natasha Doshi in the female lead roles. This is the third combination of Balakrishna with Nayantara.

JAI SIMHA REVIEW

Cast: Nandamuri Balakrisha, Nayantara, Prakash Raj, Hariprriya, Natasha Doshi, Aushtosh Rana, Prabhakar, Brahmanandam and Murali Mohan

Director: KS Ravikumar

Story and Dailogues: M Ratnma

Music Composer: Chirrantan Bhatt

Producer: C Kalyan

Production House: CK Entertainments

Story:

The film starts in a railway station and Nayantara appears in a deglam get up. This episode is unfinished and then the scene shifts to Kumbakonam. Balakrishna makes a dramatic entrance with an infant. He joins as driver at politician Murali Mohan’s residence. Natasha, daughter of the politician hits a car and Balakrishna takes the blame and gets beaten up by goons. Lathicharge on temple priests, NBK steps into the situation and delivers some powerful dialogues that will definitely appeal to the Brahmin community. Meanwhile, Villains reach Kumbakonam and kidnap the infant. High octane action episode and Balakrishna does unbelievable stunts. Pre-interval scene and an interesting twist.

Movie shifts to Vizag. Aushtosh Rana’s son stages a fake protest, that results in huge traffic blockage and a pregnant woman dies. To teach him a lesson, Balakrishna blocks Aushtosh Rana’s son’s MP nomination. Hurt by this, the young lad commits suicide and this fumes Aushtosh Rana. He attacks Balakrishna at Manga’s (Hariprriya) wedding and the situation forces Balakrishna to marry Manga.

What is the connection of infant with Balakrishna, what about Nayantara forms the plot. This should be watched on the big screen.

Screenplay:

The first half of the film sets the plot. This is a pakka mass entertainment and it is NBK show all the way. Though his introduction is simple yet will give you goosebumps. Power packed dialogues and high octane action episodes steal the show in the first half. The interval bang is also decent. The second half is filled with entertaining scenes, appealing romance and heart warming family drama. We can call this as a complete packed film.

Performance:

Songs and Balakrishna’s energetic dance are major highlights of the film. Balakrishna’s character has all shades. Funny side of Balayya in flashback episode. He makes audience weep in emotional sentiment scenes. Nayantara performs good while Hariprriya surprises the audience with her bubbly character.

Technically:

Background music is too good while cinematography is decent. But the second half is a bit dragging and the conflict is not that convincing. As expected the film has very strong dailogues and we know how Balayya delivers them with ease. Though this is beaten to death plot, the director has successfully managed to embed unpredictable twists at regular intervals.

Bottom-line: Emotional family drama with mass entertainment.

This is Balakrishna’s straight third Sankranthi release and it has really worked for the Nandamuri Hero. Jai Simha trailer and songs have entertained fans and they delighted to see their hero in pakka mass avatar. Once again, Balakrishna has targeted the family audience and considering the emotional content, it might work with them. Overall this is a Sankranthi blockbuster. NBK fans now it’s your time to enjoy this visual feast.
