Post the announcement of Natural star Nani’s sports drama ‘Jersey’ rumours popped up that actress Shruti Haasan is going to essay the female lead in the movie.
But Shruti has denied these reports and added that she did not sign any Telugu movie so far. Shruti was last seen on Telugu screen in Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Katamarayudu.’
Coming to ‘Jersey,’ Nani will be seen as a cricketer and the film will be directed by Gautam. This is a period backdrop film which spans from 1986 to 1996. Sithara Entertainments banner will be bankrolling the movie.
