AP MPs disrupt Rajyasabha Monsoon Sessions


The monsoon session of Parliament began today amid huge uproar from opposition parties. Rajya Sabha sessions are disrupted with opposition MPs creating ruckus and it had to be adjourned.
After reading obituary references and making an announcement to allow members make speeches in their regional languages, Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu called for Zero Hour.
But TDP MPs protested, demanding special category status for Andhra Pradesh and other unfulfilled bifurcation promises. Vice President adjourned the House till 12 p.m.
Samajwadi Party also joined TDP in the agitation over mob lynching cases.
As known, TDP has moved No confidence motion yesterday with support from RJD and other parties.
PM Narendra Modi requested opposition to cooperate with the government in running the Parliament sessions smoothly so that the healthy debate on any issue would help resolve the problems and benefit the states and country as a whole.
