YS Jagan Mohan Reddy completed 3000 km of his tour in Andhra Pradesh as a part of Praja Sankalpa Yatra. It is no ordinary feat to walk 3000 km on feet. YSRCP Chief took inspiration from his father former CM Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy covered a walkathon of 3000 km in 2003 at the age 56 years. It is considered that his Padayatra made him Chief Minister in 2004 defeating Chandrababu Naidu then. YS Jagan to is expected to repeat the history by becoming CM in 2019 elections by defeating Naidu again.
“Feeling extremely humbled as I complete the 3000km milestone today. Walking alongside my people has been one of the greatest learning experiences. The love & faith you all have shown towards me has been a constant inspiration to move further every single day,” tweeted Jagan on the occasion of completing 3000km.
Jagan’s fitness regime is attributed to his discipline and strict diet. Close aides reveal that the young leader wakes up at 4.30AM in the morning and does exercise for one hour. He will be ready by 6.30 and read newspapers for half an hour. He takes cereals as breakfast along with a fruit juice.
As he sets on Padayatra, he discusses with key leaders on the go. Public have welcomed him grandly telling him their grievances. Jagan’s patience in listening to the people amazes everyone. On his tour in West Godavari district, former IPS officer, retired DIG Mohammad Iqbal met him and joined YCP. Another retired IPS officer from Kadapa S Lakshma Reddy also joined the party. With many leaders joining the party at large, cadre is exuding confidence that the party would come to power in 2019.
