Vijay Devarakonda’s NOTA is likely to be postponed. The film is schedule for release on October 5th. Vijay Deverakonda is playing CM in this political drama. He is set for Tamil debut with this film directed by Anand Shankar.
NOTA team held public meeting in Vijayawada on Sunday. The film gained huge buzz with intriguing trailer. As per latest buzz, NOTA’s release may be postponed in Telangana. Filmmaker politician and former member of Censor Board, Keti Reddy Jagadeswar Reddy sent letter to Election Commission appealing to stall the film’s release as it promotes one particular party in Telangana.
It will be like a campaign for that party for upcoming elections. So, Keti Reddy demanded that NOTA has to be postponed and be allowed to release after elections in the state. Apparently, the film supports TRS party. Vijay Devarakonda shares good rapport with KTR, the minister praised Arjun Reddy and also visited his house.
Moreover in the trailer, Devarkonda utters a dialogue that it is ridiculous to keep the states fate in the hands of a Swamiji. The dialogue indirectly targets BJP party as Yogi Adityanath is a Sanyasi who is now CM of Uttar Pradesh and also there is a buzz that Swamy Paripoornananda would be made BJP state president. It has to be seen if Election Commission takes action and forces makers to postpone the film.
