Nominations process for upcoming Telangana elections has been concluded. Congress working president Revanth Reddy and KTR have filed papers on Monday. Revanth Reddy filed his papers from Kodangal in Vikarabad district while KTR filed his nomination from Sirsilla constituency in Rajanna Sircilla District.
Congress fielded KK Mahender Reddy against KTR. Elections are scheduled to be held for the 119 assembly constituencies on December 7. As known, TDP has formed alliance with Congress. Revanth equated TRS to Kauravas as KCR announced that he is aiming to win 100 seats. Revanth claimed that he is one among Pandavas as Kodangal has got five mandals. Apparently, he identifies himself to be Arjuna!
TRS targeted Revanth Reddy on his election affidavit and criminal cases he has been facing. More than 34 criminal cases are under trial against Revanth as prime suspect.
Leaders alleged that his assets increased many folds in past few years. Apparently, Revanth did not list the recent income-tax evasion case on him. Revanth Reddy’s wife Geetha Reddy was questioned by income-tax officials regarding the jewellery stored in bank lockers and properties valued at Rs 9.44 crore. His assets grew from Rs 4.44 crore in 2014 to Rs 7. 79 crore according to affidavit filed. He had recently purchased properties including prime land in Serilingampally.
