Padi Padi Leche Manasu full movie review

Padi Padi Leche Manasu Story :

Story is set in Kolkata. Surya(Sharwanand) falls in love with Vaishali(Sai Pallavi). Surya tries to impress Vaishali in many ways. One fine day she reciprocates and both enjoy their love life for a period. An ego clash followed by a heated argument leads their break up. Things worsen and their lives are endangered. What made them part ways? How do they patch up again? Will their love be successful?

Padi Padi Leche Manasu Review:

Padi Padi Leche Manasu is breezy romantic entertainer. First half is full of effervescence with beautiful love scenes. The set up with beautiful Kolkata visuals give feel good experience.

The film gets serious and moves at snail pace from interval onwards. The conflict that results in lead pair’s break up is convincingly presented. However, second half tests patience with melodrama full of lags. Romantic chemistry between Sai Pallavi and Sharwanand is good but it lasts for less time. Too much of artistic touch kills the theme of the movie.

Story goes haywire and aimless towards climax like any of Hanu Raghavapudi’s previous movies.

Performances:

Sharwanand is superb as Surya. He delivers a terrific performance, especially in emotional part in second half. Sai Pallavi is good but she repeats her same attitude like in Fida or MCA. The crackling chemistry between them is the driving element of the movie. Murali Sharma, Sunil, Priyadarshi and Vennela Kishore are decent in their roles.

Technically:

Hanu Raghavapudi did his best in captivating presentation and extracting performances. He should have concentrated on screenplay for it to be more heartening. Well penned dialogues haunt for a while.

Brilliant cinematography of PC Sreeram style reminds us of many Maniratnam movies. DOP gives class feeling to the movie that is of international standards.

Music and background score by Vishal Chandrasekhar is equally fabulous.
