YS Jagan is the fifth highest earning MLA in India according to the latest report of the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and the National Election Watch. As per self declared affidavits, YSRCP Chief’s annual earnings is filed as Rs approximately 18 Crores including his wife YS Bharati’s and other family members incomes. YS Jagan alone earns 13 crore according to the reports.
3,145 MLAs across the country have declared their assets while 941 MLAs have not done so.
While YS Jagan is fifth highest in the country, Karnataka’s Hoskote MLA MTB Nagraj from Congress is the highest-earning MLA in the entire country with Rs 157 Crore annual income.
Real estate tycoon and Maharashtra MLA Mangal Prabhat Lodha is second highest earning MLA in the country. He is the vice-president of Maharashtra BJP.
Karnataka Congress MLA Basavaraj and Tamil Nadu Congress MLA H Vasantha Kumar are at 3rd and 4th positions respectively.
Kavali MLA Ramireddy Prathap Kumar Reddy is the only other MLA who made it to top 20.
