The ongoing debate of Mersal Vs Modi just got murkier with BJP leader GH Raja sharing Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Aadhaar card and alleged that the star being a Christian is on mudslinging against BJP with political motivation. Several south stars including Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan extended their support to Mersal. Latest to join the bandwagon is Vishnu Manchu. The Telugu hero countered BJP spokesperson GVLN Rao for his condescending remarks on film stars.
Rao said that most film stars are low in IQ and general knowledge. Vishnu set record straight by asking if most politicians are corrupt and thugs. The actor further nailed it saying greatest leaders of the country have been film stars like NTR, MGR and Jayalalitha. Vishnu also gave a fitting reply to politicians giving communal angle to the issue. I’m a proud hindu having married a Christian, wrote the actor on his micro-blogging page.
