Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu Review:

Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu is boasted to be a experimental film but it has shades of ‘A Wednesday’ (Eenadu in Telugu) and Prathinidhi. The film has a decent concept but execution is poor. It is made low standards than a webseries or a shortfilm. Screenplay isn’t great either.

First half moves at snail pace with series of suspicious events and establishment of characters. The film gets somewhat gripping in second half as the mystery unfolds. However, it gets predictable and thereby tedious towards the climax. Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu has to settle as an average suspense thriller due to weak narration, mediocre direction and poor quality of making.

Sudheer Babu is decent as a cop with his intense performance. Nara Rohith again does  justice in serious role. Shriya comes as a surprise package. It’s a challenging role for her that she never did serious role sans glamour show. Sree Vishnu’s makeover raked curiosity ahead of the film. Perhaps, his character is not too novel and doesn’t meet the hype.

There are films in the recent times that are made on shoe-string budget yet appear rich in quality of filmmaking. Limited budget can’t be an excuse anymore with latest techniques in filmmaking. Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu has got an interesting plot that could be developed into a potential thriller. Weak script and Poor execution killed the excitement and thrill factors the film can offer. The star cast has been wasted. Better luck next time Indrasena.

Bottom-line: Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu – Good idea, bad execution
