Budget 2019 presented by Finance Minister Piyush Goyal has received mixed reactions. BJP led NDA Government is boasting it as middle class and farmers budget. Opposition has been criticizing that the budget is more or less BJP’s election manifesto and Narendra Modi is trying to distract public from woes created by demonetization and GST.
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu slammed the center for ignoring the state in the budget. Naidu and TDP MLAs wore black shirts in protest against center to assembly on Friday. Naidu furiously attacked Modi government for not granting any benefits to the newly formed state. State government has been demanding special category status, center fund for building Amaravati, Vizag railway zone, economic support for backward areas of Northern Andhra etc.
There has been criticism that Film Industry is keeping mum on the issue. TDP leaders have been seeking Tollywood’s support. Like Tamil film celebs united and fought together for Jallikattu, it is time for Telugu film folks to join hands in fight against center for special status to AP.
Manchu Manoj is one hero who took courage in tweeting against PM Narendra Modi and the budget that has been presented. The actor warned Modi that he would face the wrath of Lord Balaji if he doesn’t grant special status to the state.
As known, Modi promised to grant special status to AP in his Tirupati meeting ahead during 2014 elections swearing in the name of Lord Balaji.
Manoj is being trolled for cursing PM. The actor has been dealing with trollers sensibly. Check it out.
