After much of dilly-dallying for years, finally, superstar Rajinikanth announces his political entry today. After discussing with fans for six days since his birthday, the Kabali star confirmed his political foray. Rajini said that he wasn’t afraid of politics but he only fears media which blows up whatever he comments.
“I long for political change in Tamil Nadu. I want to see politics sans caste and communal differences. I think it is right time as I don’t want to repent later that I didn’t use the chance given by God to try and bring changes in political system,” said the 68-year-old superstar.
Interestingly, Rajinikanth coins a new word ‘spiritual politics’. He invites commoners to join the mission of cleaning up political system.
Further Rajini added that it is people’s mandate that he would abide by and would resign any given top post if he fails to fulfill his promises within three years of his tenure. His contemporary Kamal Haasan congratulate Rajini on twitter. Fans are in jubilation that their long cherished dream is finally true.
Rajinikanth’s two films 2.0 and Kaala are due for release in 2018.
