As known, Baahubali 2 is facing ban in Karnataka. Producers have appealed court to lift the ban. The magnum opus sequel is slated to hit screens all over on April 28. It is still uncertain whether the film will release in Karnataka or not. It is all because of Tamil actor Satyaraj. Kattappa had made inflammatory remarks against Kannada people a decade ago in the issue of Cauvery river water dispute.
Kannada activists have warned that they will not allow the film to be screened in their state. They demanded apology from Satyaraj. Director SS Rajamouli made an appeal to Kannada friends through a video. He said that the comments made by Satyaraj is his personal and the film’s makers have nothing to do with it. He expressed confidence that Kannada people would welcome Baahubali 2 as they loved its part one.
