Vijay movies are backed with political controversies. His previous movie Mersal directed by director Atlee has built a big controversy on a dialogue delivered by Thalapathy, However, the scene was muted later. Now, the same situation is observed for Sarkar movie as well. The Vijay political drama sarkar released for Diwali has caught with fresh Political controversy.
AIADMK party alleged that the film portrays their government in corrupt shades, AIADMK leaders and followers protested at theaters, demanding the immediate removal of the objectionable scenes.
Addressing the number of screenings and a huge budget, Sarkar movie makers have backed off to the pressure and agreed to mute the controversial scenes. To remove the scenes from the movie, an approval from the CBFC is required which may take another 7 to 10 days. Keerthy Suresh and Vijay are the lead roles directed by AR Murugadoss.
