Saamy 2 Full Movie Review and Rating

Saamy 2 Story:

Ramasaamy (Vikram) is a foolhardy cop whose family gets killed by a gang. He is on hunt for the murderers to take revenge. Saamy saves Diya(Keerthy Suresh) from goons. She falls head over heels with him. Saamy finds that Ravana(Bobby Simha) and his brothers had killed his parents. He is set on a mission to kill them to avenge his parents death. How he tracks them down and kills one by one  forms rest of the story.

Saamy 2 Review:

Saamy 2 is a clichéd revenge drama. Its typical mass action entertainer. From story to narration everything is so routine. The film is loud and clumsy.

Saamy 2 opens with reference to first part. It will be confusing for Telugu audience.  Too many action sequences make it a terrible watch. Forced comedy scenes doesn’t bring any laughs but test patience. Bizarre romantic track between lead pair only adds to the viewers woes.

Except a few powerpacked scenes between Vikram and Bobby Simha, there is nothing to look for in Saamy 2.

Chiyaan Vikram gives an impeccable performance as aggressive police officer. He carries the film on his shoulders with his energy and stylish portrayal. Keerthy Suresh doesn’t have any scope for performance. However, she is good in her limited role.

Saamy 2 is a mass masala flick written all over its face. Director Hari targets only front rows. The film is flashy and noisy with silly scenes. Heavy action episodes burden the audience. Sticking to regular revenge template, the film has nothing new to offer. Devi Sri Prasad back to his mass drum beats. Songs are just okay. Dialogues go overboard and sound funny. Cinematography is shaky with too many cuts giving dizzy feel to eyes.
