Finally, the theatrical release date of ‘Padmavat’ has been confirmed on January 25th. The film which was supposed to hit the screens on December 1st 2017, got delayed due to controversy surrounding the content of the film. Very recently, the film was cleared by the CBFC and it received ‘U/A’ certificate. ‘Padmavat’ will clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Padman.’
‘Padmavat’ release wll also affect the releases of new Telugu films. Hero Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Achari America Yatra’ is one among them, which is slated for Republic Day release.
