Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has unveiled the First Trial Car Assembled in Kia Motors Anantapur Plant on Tuesday. It is considered as big achievement as Kia Motors Plant is the Single Largest Investment to the state post bifurcation.
Construction started on 15th Nov 2017, trial production has been launched by CM on Tuesday, 29th Jan 2019. 536 acres have been alloted to the company by the government. Full production will begin later this year. Locals will be getting nearly 15k direct and indirect jobs. Naidu in his statement said that its a big day for AP especially to Ananthpur district. Rayalaseema has been written off as drought and backward region. KIA Motors will change the face of the region as it has prospects to get transformed into manufacturing hub.
