Nartanasala is a joke on audience
Rating: 2.25/5

Strictly gay comedy
Rating: 2.5/5

Nartanasala Story:

Naga Shaurya is a matured youngster who helps Manasa(Kashmira) to come out of her troubles. Eventually, he falls in love with her. But his father (Sivaji Raja) wants him to marry another girl Satya(Yamini Bhaskar). To escape the marriage, Shaurya pretends to be a gay. How Shaurya convinces his family and society as a gay and finally wins his love forms the remaining story.

Nartanasala Review:

Nartanasala is a romantic comedy entertainer dealing with taboo subject of gay. However, director handled it without any vulgarity. First half is dull with hardly any exciting stuff. Neither comedy nor the romance connects to audience.

Interval twist is somewhat hilarious. Second half is even terrible with forced family sentiment. Slapstick comedy and silly scenes test patience. Some comical scenes with Shaurya as gay works. However, it comes overboard with redundant scenes. Director tried to drive entire film on a single point. There is rarely any noteworthy moment in the film.

Naga Shourya tries to save this bland film with his decent performance as gay. Jaya Prakash Reddy bring some laughs with his seasoned comedy timing. Yamini Bhaskar looked pretty and okay with her role. Rocket Raghava tickles as a drunkard son-in-law.

The film looks a shortfilm with poor technical values. Script is weak and direction is amateurish. Songs are loud and unwanted. Cinematography is below par.

Bottom-line: Nartanasala is a joke on audience.
