Mahesh Babu’s Bharath Ane Nenu is likely to face similar situation as his Khaleja faced seven years ago. The Koratala Siva directorial had been planned for release on April 27. The makers are okay to clash with Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya…Naa Illu India which is also scheduled for same day as Summer will be best season for films with holidays around.
Remember Baahubali 2 released April 28th this year and we are well aware of the storm that it created at box-office. However, dreams of Bharath and Surya are shattered with latest announcement that 2.0 will be releasing on April 27th. Superstar Rajinikanth’s film was supposed to release for Diwali this year. Due to heavy VFX works it got postponed to January 25th. Now, Shankar’s sci-fi magnum opus is again pushed to Summer.
Producers Bunny Vas and DVV Danayya vented their objection on 2.0 being scheduled for April as it would mar the box-office results of their films. They have also complained to producer council. As per Film Nagar buzz, Bharath Ane Nenu is likely to drop out of April. Mahesh’s previous two films ‘Bramhotsavam’ and ‘Spyder’ have bombed miserably. Apparently, the superstar doesn’t want to take a chance with Bharath Ane Nenu. Remember Khaleja released one week after Robo released in October 2010. We all know the fate of that film directed by Trivikram. Obviously, makers don’t want it to repeat.
