KCR’s emergency meeting on Rahul Gandhi’s visit


Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called an emergency state executive meeting of his TRS party. He discussed on early elections and Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the state with party leaders at Telangana Bhavan. Congress President Rahul Gandhi is set to visit the state on Monday.
KCR wants to dissolve Assembly so that elections would be conducted early by January. Going by the regular schedule, elections have to be held in May. KCR held the meeting to seek other MLAs and MPS opinion on early elections.  Apparently, KCR feels that the goodwill among people on his party to be cashed in on by holding early elections before congress party gains people’s support. Moreover, KCR also discussed about how to counter Rahul Gandhi incase he criticizes TRS government’s governance
