KCR to set unbeatable record

KCR is all set to become first Telangana MLA with most number of poll victories. The first Chief Minister of Telangana will create record of wins becoming an eight-time MLA. The previous record of seven wins is held by veteran Congress leader K Jana Reddy.

It will be cakewalk for KCR to win the upcoming election from Gajwel. KCR also won as an MP five times from Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar and Medak.

The first Chief Minister of Telangana also served as Deputy Speaker of the AP Assembly before quitting TDP in 2001.

During the 2004 elections, KCR contested as a TRS candidate from Siddipet and won the seat for the sixth consecutive time. He served as Central Labour Minister in UPA-I government.

In 2009 elections, he won as MP from Mahabubnagar. KCR contested for both MP and MLA from Medak Parliament and Gajwel Assembly constituencies in 2014.
