KCR to face tough competition

Telangana CM KCR has been making moves to step into national politics. He met Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee, DMK supremo Karunanidhi and others to form Federal Front to compete with BJP in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Telangana government has endorsed KCR on national media. It received criticism from opposition that public funds are misused for personal promotions. TRS leaders refuted saying public wishes to see KCR as PM. But political analysts differ with this argument.
Telangana only has got 17 Lok Sabha seats. Nevertheless, TRS may win all the seats but still KCR has got lean chances of becoming PM like his physique. Veteran politicians like Mulayam Singh from Uttara Pradesh that has 80 Lok Sabha seats or strong lady like Mamata Banerjee with Bengal having 42 seats wouldn’t let go the top chair, feel analysts.
On the other hand, HD Deve Gowda’s Janata Dal (S) is set to form alliance with Congress and further dampen the PM aspirations of KCR.
