Kavacham Story:

Vijay (Bellamkonda Srinivas) is a honest cop. He falls in love with Samyukta(Kajal). As they both are about to get married she goes missing. On the other hand, Vijay saves an orphan girl(Mehreen) from kidnappers. But he lands in troubles because of her. What happens to Vijay? Who is framing him? Why did Samyukta disappear? Will he finds her back? Will he break the conspiracy? Curious to know? Watch Kavacham at your nearest theaters.

Kavacham Review :

Kavacham is a run-of-the-mill cop drama. Narration is uneven. First half is sloppy with romance and unsavory comedy. Film is heavily spiced up with mass ingredients. Logics go for toss. It gets somewhat interesting from interval. But the pace is not maintained in second half. The film turns over dramatic and loud.

Romantic episodes between Kajal and Srinivas seldom appeal. Story gets confused with unnecessary scenes. Unwanted characters come and go. Film appears lengthy testing the patience. Silly mindgame between hero and villain irks. Climax relieves audience from woes.

Bellamkonda Srinivas’s screen presence as police officer is good. His intense performance suits the role. He is equally good in the action sequences. Kajal has a significant role with scope to perform and she does her job well. Mehreen too has a key role and she emotes appropriately.

Neil Nitin Mukesh is decent as antagonist. Posani and Satyam Rajesh add comedy.

Technically the film is well made with decent production values. Chota K Naidu’s cinematography gives the film rich look. Action and chases are well choreographed and shot. Background score is good at hero elevation and mass appeasement. Dialogues are good. Direction is mediocre. Crisp screenplay and editing could have made the film gripping.
