Hello Guru Prema Kosame Story:

Sanju (Ram) is a happy-go-lucky guy. He is pampered by his mother Sitara and cute family. They go on fun trip to Kakinada. Sanju meets Anupama in Railway station and falls in love with her. Sanju starts teasing her in a bid to impress her. Prakash Raj and Aamani are Anupama’s parents.

Sanju makes friends with Prakash Raj without knowing that he’s Anupama’s dad. Prakash Raj gives ideas to Sanju in wooing his own daughter. On the other hand, Pranitha Subhash who is Ram’s colleague at his office also likes him. Twist in the tale arises as Anupama accepts and Prakash Raj learns it. What happens next forms the story.

Hello Guru Prema Kosame Review:

Hello Guru Prema Kosame is a routine romantic entertainer. Predictable screenplay and old fashioned treatment makes it a below average film. Father helping a guy in loving his own daughter is what the first half is all about. It is padded with some comedy scenes not so hilarious. Second half is emotional and sentimental.

Outdated dialogues hardly evoke any fun. Ram’s IT interview with questions like database and oops are silly, Viva shortfilms in same line are much better. Unconvincing and forced conflicts in the story are just bland. Neither of the emotion connects well that the film ends on an underwhelming note.

Ram tries nothing different. His portrayal of jovial youth is same as any of his previous movies. Anupama Parameswaran looks cute and emotes well. Her energetic dances give a mass appeal. Pranitha is good too. Prakash Raj’s role is routine.

Music of Devi Sri Prasad disappoints. Background score is directly used from his previous tracks and songs with deliberate mass beats sound terribly loud. Cinematography is another let down.

Trinadh Rao Nakkina takes an insipid story and tries to present it with some awful episodes and comedy. In this times of Telugu cinema evolving with audience embracing films with content and different narratives, such films have no space.
