Gayatri is not a political drama: Mohan Babu

Actor Mohan Babu said he has immense respect for film directors but he will not step into direction. Ahead of his latest film ‘Gayatri’ release on February 9th, Mohan Babu interacted with media and shared his thoughts about the movie and other issues.

Speaking about ‘Gayatri’ Mohan Babu said, “Despite acting in about 520 films so far, I have never done a such role. This flick has a great plot and it was Vishnu who suggested the title ‘Gayatri.’ My friends from film industry, Paruchuri Gopala Krishna and director P Vasu, helped during the script work. I would like to thank them on this note.”

When asked whether he would try his luck in direction, Mohan Babu replied that he likes taking and photography and has grip on all departments of filmmaking but will not step into director’s shoe.

About his future projects, Mohan Babu said that there are ‘Kanappa’ and ‘Ravana Brahma’ in pipeline but it is too early to reveal more details about them.
