Nothing has been working in favour of Akhil. The Akkineni hero pinned all his hopes on Mr Majnu which ended up a average film at box-office. Akhil was planning to do a sports drama as his fourth film.
But with failure of Mr Majnu, the young hero is said to be in dilemma. Sreenu Vaitla had narrated a story to Nagarjuna for Akhil. But that film too may not fall in place as Vaitla is continuing his streak of flops with Amar Akbar Antony. Fans feel Akhil should try a debutant director instead as audience will have no expectations and that may give him much needed hit.
