The D-day has arrived. Most awaited movie of the year 2Point0 (2.0) is hitting screens in few hours. Premiere shows will be held tonight in several locations. Meanwhile, first review  of 2.0 is here. Film reporter and UAE Censor board member Umair Sandhu has given his review on 2Point0.

In Sandhu’s words, 2Point0 is a crowd-pleasing and hugely mass appealing tale of android revolution with a thrilling plot, rich and imaginative screenplay, super action, astounding effects and most importantly, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, who is the soul of the film. 2Point0 screenplay is really well penned and absorbing. While the film is a super ride from start to end.

It’s a “Rajinikanth” film and it would be incomplete if his loyal fans don’t get to watch his stylish actions and feats.

2Point0 franchise has successfully created its own world and some incredible characters that are sure to stay with you for a long, long time. Talking specifically of #2Point0 it’s a feast for moviegoers and has the trappings to make all generations its fan.


Shankar ranks amongst India’s best directors is well known by now and #2Point0 only cements the fact. His vision and execution of the difficult subject deserves the highest praise, in fact distinction marks. He not only dreams big, but the outcome is incredible too.

The Sets, VFX, Sound, Edit, Cinematography and most importantly, the screenplay is Fantastic, as per Umair Sandhu’s 2Point0 (2.0) Pre-release review.

Chitti Vs Fifth Force:

Special mention goes to both Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth for some outstanding work, especially for Akshay who excels in portraying the angry Villain.

Akshay Kumar is menacing, ferocious and nails his part with precision. His transformation, a prerequisite for the character, makes him look powerful and unshakable. He Stole the Show all the way.

The reporter gives his verdict as BLOCKBUSTER with four stars. 2Point0 already started breaking records. First day ticket bookings have surpassed both Avengers and Baahubali with 1 million tickets sold online.
